To tour “HISTORY HOUSE” or “OLD PORTER MEETING HOUSE”

Except for the above dates the History House and the Old Porter Meeting House may be seen by appointment only.  Contact Dottie Locke (625-4667), Edith Pennock (625-3397), or Jan Iler (625-7019) for arrangements.

ANNUAL YARD AND BAKE SALE

Don’t forget the Annual Yard/Bake Sale at the History House is on July 17th.  (This is a week later than usual due to unavailability of working members.) This is a major fundraiser and in order for this to be a success, we need donations of goods to sell.  Think of us as you clean out those closets and attics and pass on those clean, “still good” items.  Please call any of the officers listed below for pick-ups.  (Please no clothing or white goods: stoves, refrigerators, etc.)

ANNUAL QUILT RAFFLE

We are pleased to say that Dottie Locke has decided to do another quilt to raffle this year.  This has always been a great success thanks to Dottie, her assistants, and all those who sell tickets.  Chances on the quilt will be $1.00 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00.  Look for the tickets on sale at all PPHS events and at the Ossipee Valley Fair in the Grange Building.  Individual members are also encouraged to sell tickets.
