News Updates:

The last couple of summers we decided to see if people would be interested in accessing our library and resources on a more regular basis.  We set up a schedule to open up our Research Room and staff it with trained and knowledgeable people. scheduled to be at History House 2 Mondays a month during the summer. We plan to do that again this coming summer: 10am – Noon, the 2nd and 3rd Mondays of July and Auguust, 2024. Other times by appointment.

Our resources include scrapbooks, yearbooks, town reports, genealogies, obituaries, cemetery records and various files of information on local items, plus other publications related to the history and the inhabitants of our towns, as well as information on restoring and preserving historic buildings..

We have found that, not only are we helping quite a few people looking for their ancestors, we were also finding time to work on our collection, indexing, sorting, and filing new materials,
