News Updates:

This last season we tried an experiment to see if people would be interested in accessing our library and resources on a more regular basis.  We set up a schedule to open up our Research Room and  had trained and knowledgeable people scheduled to be at History House 2 Mondays a month during the summer. Our resources include scrapbooks, yearbooks, town reports, genealogies, obituaries, and various files of information on local items, plus other publications related to the history and inhabitants of our towns.  One recent acquisition is a brand new extensive manual on how to renovate old and historic houses.  We seem to have a lot of them in our area.

We have discussed the results of our experiment and we feel it would be worthwhile to continue those open hours.  We are planning to be open again this season during July and August . We have tentatively set aside the 2nd and 4th Mondays from 10am to noon in  July and August, 2023.  Check back for more details. Other times by appointment.
