Program: “World War I and the Over-promised Middle East” by Fay Melendy
WWI was coming to a close in 1918/19. Fay’s talk is on the diplomatic history of this period in the middle east, how nation states were created by Europeans with the resulting conflicts that continue today.

We are fortunate to have another of Mary Stewart’s quilts to raffle for the Society again this year. Look for tickets at all PPHS events until the October meeting. Chances will be $1.00 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00. We depend on the help of members to sell tickets, also.
The Research Room at History House will be open by appointment only at this time.
